Here we are going to explain what is punishable offence in this section and how much has imprisonment or fine under section 451.


House-trespass in order to commit offence punishable with imprisonment:

In this section states that whoever commits house-trespass in order to the committing of any offence punishable with imprisonment, shall be punished with imprisonment of either description for a term which may extend to two years, and shall also be liable to fine; and if the offence intended to be committed is theft, the term of the imprisonment may be extended to seven years.


1. Offence: House-trespass in order to the commission of an Offence punishable with imprisonment

Punishment - 2 Years + Fine

This is a Bailable, Cognizable offence and Triable by Any Magistrate


2. Offence: If the offence is theft

Punishment - 7 Years + Fine

This is a Non-Bailable, Cognizable offence and Triable by Any Magistrate
